Logan Drevlow of Hopkins successfully defended his Nordic state title, finishing 50 seconds ahead of the closest skier. And he's only a sophomore. (Jeff Wheeler, The Minnesota Star Tribune)
This year, no freshmen finished within the top 30 at February’s boys Nordic skiing state meet. That made Hopkins sophomore Logan Drevlow’s back-to-back state titles all the more impressive.
Last year, he became the first underclassman to win the boys title this century, finishing 27.7 seconds ahead of second place. This year, he defended his crown even more dominantly, finishing 50 seconds ahead of the next closest skier.
